Washington County, in coordination with the City of Sherwood, is evaluating the feasibility of potential future improvements to SW Elwert Road and SW Edy Road to address safety concerns, improve traffic operations, and support planned growth in Sherwood West area. The proposed design will include a center median/turn lane, improved intersections, and accommodations for people walking and biking.
Alternative 1: Refines Sherwood West Concept Plan alignment, including two roundabouts.
Alternative 2: Uses existing right of way with Elwert/Edy as a signalized intersection.
Alternative 3: Uses existing right of way and adds roundabouts on each side of tributary near the existing Elwert/Edy intersection.
